How do I install activex control?

In trying to download limewire, I was prompted to download a version of java, I tried, however I get a script saying I need to download activex. Usually I will get a yellow bar to click, not this time. So I cannot complete the download.How do I install activex control?
you can download activex from www.activex.com. you will download it and install. And start your limewire download again.
