KaloniHow do I download the ActiveX Control for FlashPlayer 10?
Ok, try this:
Completely remove flash player including previous versions and old files that could be causing problems by using the direct download link:
Direct download link for remover:

Either save the file to your desktop then run it or just choose run.
After removing it if you have Internet Explorer on your computer start IE and download the IE version direct from:
http://www.macromedia.com/go/full_flashp鈥?/a> (choose run)
Then exit IE and start Firefox or another Non IE browser if you're using one.
Then download the Non IE plug in for Flash Player from:

Then restart your computer.
Hope that helps!
Another useful piece of free software which will detect missing or out of date software patches is Secunia. It will automatically warn you if a program needs updating.

The personal desktop version is best. Scan in advanced mode then click on the + sign next to any issues found for the fix. If no fix is available the file path is shown for manual removal.

The biggest threat to your computer these days isn't from viruses - it's from having unpatched software on your computer which can be exploited. Unfortunately Adobe, Java and other manufactures don't provide you with the right information on how to update safely. It's nearly always best to remove completely then reinstall the latest version.
Simply installing the latest version can leave you with multiple installations as updating doesn't remove the old files.
It's really best not to just upgrade to the latest version as the old versions or remnants of them are never removed automatically. Files will be left on your hard drive which could pose a security risk or cause other problems.

Some websites will say that you need to install flash player and provide a link to download it but personally I wouldn't trust those links as they may be prompting you to download malicious software. How do I download the ActiveX Control for FlashPlayer 10?
