What activex control do i need to view some yahoo contents and where do i get it?

On the 'Featured' tab on yahoo's home page, there is a link where you click on 'Watch Video' to watch the video associated to the news headline/image if there is a video. When I click on 'Watch Video' I just get a blank window that pops-up. Also sometimes on the homepage there are sections that just don't show. I reckon it's something to do with add-ons i.e. ActiveX controls or Java applets but I am unsure. Please tell me how I could resolve this as I am unable to watch these feautured videos. NB: I have gone to Internet Options and enabled it to run all ActiveX controls, scriptlets and plugins but stoill nothing works.
